Great quality
I just received the lamp today. I opened the box and assembled it all in about an hour! The product seems to be solid. The reason I removed one star: the bulb was broken when I received it.

Good product
Easy to assemble with some thinking and reading first to clearly understand. Negative points, missing parts. Hopefully they have good customer services to get missing parts.

Great Product
Easy to assemble (with a cordless drill or screwdriver). Perfect as a spot heating for one or two. Instant on and no messing with propane. Great price from Costco.

Good Value for the price.
Sturdily built unit. Has hidden wheels that make it easy to move about. Works well to warm a couple of people sitting on a deck or working in a cold shop. Easy hight adjustment. Just the ticket for sitting on the deck on a cool spring evening.

excellent product
We have just received and assembled this product. It is nice having an electric model which we can use in many different applications. The instructions were easy to follow and the quality of the heater is evident. It is easy to use, just plug it in, not need to carry heavy gas canisters back and forth. It emits a very nice amount of heat and the height is easily adjustable. Looking forward to a lot more dinners out this year! We live on the seaside so our evenings can be cool, and this heater is just the ticket.

Just as advertised. Instructions were clear and product was easy to put together and worked instantly. Has kept us warm during the cool September evenings. I don' t think it would heat a huge area, but definitely warm enough for a group of 6-8 people. We've only been using it for a week, but no complaints at all so far!

Decent heater for the price
Heater assembly is fairly easy - 45 min. It works as advertised with decent amount of heat coverage. Adjustable and easy to move. Decent value relative to peers.

A decent performer with minimal environmental footprint. Pleased.
Fast delivery, especially considering it came across country. All the components were in the box and well-secured. Picture quality on the manual is rather poor. Assembly was straightforward. Works fine. It won't heat the same area as a propane heater, but it won't destroy the planet either. Concerns: BOTH of the knobs that secure the extendable posts were defective; they were very poor quality; it is taking a while to get replacements, but the staff member handling the issue has been extremely responsive in following up. For an outdoor item in this price band that says it should not be left uncovered, it should come with a decent quality cover instead of no cover. I bought it for my in-laws, who speak well of it. Happy inlaws.....

Great product, great customer service
I purchased this item on Costco.ca. It arrived 3 days earlier than promised. It is well made and was easy to assemble as the instructions were clear and concise. My unit kept clicking off so I contacted JR Home and Tamerin got back to me within the day and did a great job at troubleshooting. He/she? determined that the thermostat was defective and mailed me a new one along with very clear emailed instructions on how to replace it. That fixed it right up and it has worked perfectly. I would recommend this unit highly to anyone that wants to enjoy their outdoor spaces when the weather gets cooler. Kudos to Tamerin as well. It’s rare to come across someone so professional and helpful!

Like so much we purchased a second unit
We purchased this Paramount telescopic IR electric patio heater a month or so back and found it to be of good quality and provided sufficient heat for our needs. In fact we liked it so much we purchased a second unit as each has a fairly limited area it warms people and other structures within. While we could have purchased propane heaters, they use considerable propane and we thought it best to do our part to help cut greenhouse gases wherever possible. Don't expect to warm large areas but 2, 3 or 4 people will stay reasonably warm when outdoors from each of these attractive stainless steel heaters if seated fairly close to each other. Both our units have operated flawlessly since I assembled them. By the way, assembly is quite simple and takes perhaps 60 or so minutes of your time.

So far, so good!
Purchased online from Costco…arrived in just a few days. Assembly was a little time consuming, but carefully following the instructions, everything fit. Like the idea of instant heat, and not having to worry about a natural gas hookup or lugging around propane bottles. Will have to wait for a cooler evening to fully determine the effectiveness of the unit. And, it even looks good…nice and sturdy as well!
