Lots of heat making patio useable almost throughout the year
The installation was fairly simple. It took 45 min to set up. The unit looks great in the patio. Installing the propane tank (the cover has to be lifted up and balanced on a screw, which is a bit annoying, especially until I figured out you can rest it on one of the screws on the tripod stand), and connecting the hose was simple. Unfortunately, the ignition switch did not work for me (the second reason for the four-star), and had to use a lighter to light it, but it was a bit unnerving as it wouldn't light right away and there was a burst of flame. Once lit though, the heat generated, even at a very low setting, is intense, and more than enough to heat up the entire patio with at least six people seated around it comfortably. Looking forward to using it a lot in the coming years.

I have a covered patio, but it is still only useable about 3-4 months a year with all the rain and cold in Vancouver. I found a great deal on this one at Home Depot, so chose to get one. It took about 45 min to build, fairly easy as there were good instructions. The stainless steel look is quite nice. Most importantly it puts out a lot of heat even at low settings, and would easily keep a group of six people warm with no issues. There were a couple of issues, 1. the battery orientation for the ignition is incorrect (positive should face outside, not negative as the instruction says), and the tank cover does not have a door. To install a propane tank, you have to precariously balance the tank cover on a screw on the tripod stand. Overall, excellent buy, especially for the price that I paid.

Mocha Patio heater

Fantastic patio heater
We recently got this heater for our backyard. Phenomenal heater and looks very nice in mocha. Good heat and enough for a 6-8 seater dining table. My guests enjoyed being warm with the heat. The heater was easy to assemble as well with clear instructions.

Great heater for an outdoor deck space
Excellent heater, we wanted one for years and finally chose this one and it does exactly what we want, keeps a large area on our deck warm and is almost silent .... Definitely recommend

Good first impressions
Took me about 50 mins to assemble. Parts were clearly labelled and instructions were pretty straightforward. Had to reconnect the regulator hose to the brand new propane tank a couple of times to finally hear the gas hiss when the knob was turned on. And the electronic lighter cap that holds the battery was finicky, too tight and it wouldn't tick. Got everything working, tested it, and it certainly pumps out a lot of heat. Was debating between this and a fire table, and although not as aesthetically pleasing (IMO), I think this will be much more efficient when it gets cooler and will also be easier to tuck to the side out of the way in the summer when not in use.
